This ministry helps provide children with the school supplies they need, to have a successful school year. Parents sign-up at the end of the school year, pay $7.00 and register their child by grade/gender. In early August they can come to the CARE Center to pick-up their child's backpack and school supplies. It affirms the parents by requiring them to pay a reduced price for the backpacks and helps the children walk into school with one less barrier so they can focus their energy on learning. Volunteers are matched with a child and fill the backpack with all the needed materials.

By “adopting” a child you commit to purchasing a backpack and supplies. 

You will receive:

• XXL zip lock bag 
• Child's name and other pertinent information
• Supply list for your child's grade and school

If you choose to, you may also include encouraging notes and treats from your family to make this gift a little more personal.  Get creative if you want to and have fun with it!  Kids love surprises!

We are trusting God to provide one Jesus Storybook Bible per backpack this year. If you would like to partner with us to reach these kids with God's word, you can donate through Paypal.

*CARE Packs provide school supplies and backpacks for children of CARE Center neighbors grades Pre K-8th grade.  They are specific to the school and grade.
