Thrift Store

Thrift Store

The Thrift Store is a women's ministry that employs four women, reaches out to other women in addiction, and offers items in good condition at an affordable price. There are classes on Tuesday and Wed. that are open for women seeking to change their lives. We now have a box truck for furniture and appliance pickups which take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12-4 p.m. and the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month. Men volunteers are always needed to help with these pickups. We sell name brand clothing and shoes for men, women and children. Our prayer is that God uses the Thrift Store to have a significant impact in the communities we serve. For more information on the Thrift Store, click here. We accept donations during The CARE Center operating hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10AM-4PM, Thursdays from 10AM-5PM, Saturdays from 9AM-1PM, and Closed on Sundays and Mondays. Car Donation Ministry

Car Donation Ministry

The CARE Center has launched a new ministry to help overcome the barrier of transportation for families in need. A vehicle can open so many doors for employment, child care, a nd other daily needs. Often it's the missing piece that makes all the difference in reaching self-sufficiency. We accept any working vehicles and sell them for a tenth of the blue book price to uphold the dignity of our neighbors. The donor then receives the blue book value in a tax credit. Job Board

Job Board

The CARE Center Job Board is designed to help those we serve find work. We keep the information updated with job listings and openings in Southeastern Madison County as well as in Huntsville. The Job Board has been a huge benefit to those we serve as job loss is the emergency that many neighbors that we serve at The CARE Center are facing. Through this, we also promote adult education classes, GED classes, computer classes, and much more.

CARE Center Christmas Store

CARE Center Christmas Store

The CARE Center Christmas Store provides an opportunity for parents we serve to purchase Christmas gifts at a greatly reduced price. Donations of new toys for children of all ages will enable the CARE Center to sell toys to parents who can afford to pay a small price while affirming their dignity. Unemployed parents, or those in need, will be allowed to work in the store to earn purchase credits. Christmas Store proceeds will be used to provide funds for various CARE Center ministries and initiatives. Jobs For Life

Jobs For Life

Jobs For Life (JFL) classes are offered every Friday from 9:30-11:30am at the CARE Center, starting November 4th. This teaches timeless biblical principles concerning work and the ways those principles are applied in the marketplace. Through this training, men and women develop character and become connected to a community of support to help them obtain far more than just a job. They experience life- a life filled with confidence, self-control, coaching, learning, and faith. For more info, contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
